Waffles

Ingredients
(makes about 10 waffles) 

  • All purpose flour – 250gm
  • Milk – 600ml
  • Butter – 200gm
  • Sugar – 100gm
  • Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs – 4

Method

  • Melt the butter and add sugar to it, beat it with an electric blender.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients, flour, salt and baking powder together and add it to the butter and sugar. 
  • Add the milk and eggs and beat it with the blender until its completely mixed. 
We got some fresh cream and whipped it up for the waffles (it sort of melted on the hot waffles tho! as you will see in the pictures)  
Pour a ladle full of batter into the waffle maker and let it cook for about 5 minutes. 
A big dollop of cream and loads of maple syrup! there’s your breakfast!
