Chocolate Sauce

  • Cream the butter and sugar, until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla to the creamed butter-sugar mixture.
  • Sift in the flour, salt and baking powder to this mixture and mix until completely incorporated.
  • This cookie dough need not be chilled before rolling out, its so light and fluffy.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  • Roll out the cookie dough using a rolling pin on a parchment sheet or a marble top.
  • Cut them using a tea bag cookie cutter or  a tag cookie cutter.
  • Line a parchment sheet on the baking tray and line the cookies, bake for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Once baked let it cool on a cooling rack.

Chocolate Sauce

  • Chop the chocolate into small bits and melt it on a double boiler or in the microwave.
  • Add the cream and milk and whisk until completely mixed.
  • Dip the cooled cookies.

P.s:

  • Sprinkle some confetti or sugar balls for decoration (optional).
  • I made little tags, just search for vintage tea pot clipart. You will find as you like.
  • The cookie cutter is from “Sweet Estelle’s” Its a gift tag cookie cutter.
