- All purpose flour - 120gm
- Butter - 100gm

- Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sea salt - a pinch
- Chocolate chips - 100gm
Dulche de leche filling
- Dulche de leche - 150gm
Instructions
Chocolate Chip Cookie
- In a bowl, add the brown and white sugar.
- In a heavy sauce pan, add the butter and let it melt.
- Add the melted butter into the bowl with sugar and let it butter and sugar mix thoroughly.
- Add egg and vanilla into this mixture.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and baking soda into the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Fold in the chocolate chips into cookie dough.
- For a typical cookie, you scoop out the cookie dough balls and let it chill overnight in the fridge and bake the next day.
- But for this skillet cookie, you can just do it the same day.
Dulche de leche filling
- If you have store bought/ ready made dulche de leche you can use that, I had some leftover from the previous bake!
- You can check out the recipe from my Mother's Day post**
Assembly
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
- I like to line all my pans/ tins no matter what material they are made of.
- I lined my skillets with parchment at the bottom.
- Add a big scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and flatten it using a spatula.
- Add a scoop of dulche de leche on top of the cookie dough layer.
- Add another layer of chocolate chip cookie dough.
- Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with a big dollop of ice cream or cream!
- Enjoy..
