DIY: Grape Jam

When Axl’s baby sitter( he adores her) brought us a big bag of dark seedless black grapes… I wanted to make some delicious grape jam/ jelly!
Here’s the recipe..

  • Black grapes – 800gm
  • Sugar -100gm
  • Orange juice – 1 orange or juice of 2 lemons


  • Wash and clean the grapes, in a food blender blend the grapes , orange/lemon juice and sugar.
  • If you want a smooth jam, blend it smooth and strain the pulp. I like mine with a bit of crunch and texture, so I only did a quick blitz.
  • In a heavy bottom pan, on a low heat cook this mixture for 20-30 or until it thickens.
  • Preserve in a clean sterilized bottle.
  • This lasts in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks

Use the jam on toast/ cakes/ scones or just by itself!!!
